Sunday morning I happened to be home alone. I decided to share our leftover popcorn with the birds, so I went outside with the dog and without my phone. It was chilly, but not windy and the fresh air was invigorating as I walked through the snow and dumped the corn along the edge of the woods. But when I got back to the house I discovered that I was locked out! Now at first that was a shocking reality. However, I am happy to report that I had hidden a spare house key on the property. So, I want to remind you to be prepared in case that happens to you. Be smart about where you hide it. Think of an unlikely place–not necessarily easy to get to–where you can put your key. Place it in a waterproof container. I have placed mine inside a pill bottle and then inside a plastic baggie. And (as I like to ask) what does this have to do with crafting? Well, how can you make crafts if you are locked out of your house?
